National Geographic Kids Insider

After all the pictures I’ve been posting from our recent adventures in Zion National Park, I thought it would be fitting to announce that I’ve been chosen to be one of the newest National Geographic Kids Insiders!

In case you missed my pictures on Instagram or Facebook here’s a cute selfie of Little Brother and me at the bottom entrance to the Zion Narrows.  If you visit Zion National Park this easy to moderate hike is a must! (Make sure you’re prepared to walk in water though.)

I’m so excited for this opportunity for both myself and my children.  We already have a great love of the National Geographic Kids early reader books.  My kids’ love of learning about animals, habitats, and ecosystems borders on obsessed–it is pretty hilarious to hear my 4 year old playing with his action figures, saying things like, “I’m going to banish you to the Sonoran Desert!”

Stay tuned this year as I share lots of fun with National Geographic Kids as a National Geographic Kids Insider!

And, just for fun, here is one more picture of my cute little family, plus one nephew, at a little waterfall in the Zion Narrows.
