Easy St Patricks Day Activities for Kids

For younger children, here is a cute story about Leprechauns your kids will love.  Recited with much gusto and a little whimsy your little ones will be absolutely delighted:

St. Patrick’s day is the day we search for Leprechauns and their gold! Leprechauns are small just like you – with a beard and hat. The Leprechauns spend all their time busily making shoes, and store away all their coins in a hidden pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Sometimes their pots are so full that they spill the gold pieces on the ground. Leprechauns love to play tricks and have fun, but never want to be seen. If you are wise on St. Patrick’s Day, you will find them. If ever caught, the Leprechaun has the magical power to grant three wishes in exchange for being set free.
