My son loves trains. He has two different wood train sets that he enjoys playing with but he has been saying that he wanted a train like his grandma’s and grandpa’s. Both my parents and my husbands parents put trains up around their Christmas trees so that’s when I realized that he wanted a motorized train. That’s when I came across Power Trains and I knew this would be perfect for my son. Power Trains are battery powered train sets that come with a remote control. They have 2 speeds, a working headlight, and work both on and off the track! Since they are battery operated there is no need for an electric track.
Here is the Power Trains Log Loader Express that we tried out.
Here it is all set up. My son just had to have it around our Christmas tree since that is where Grandma and Grandpa have theirs. Once Christmas is over I want to set it up and do a fun track that loops around. It comes with 15 + feet of track so you can get creative in how you set it up.

We all have really enjoyed the Power Trains Log Loader. The kids love just having it race around on the track. (And my husband too!) They like to move the logs around but it’s a little difficult for my four year old it figure out. My six year old can do it though and has lots of fun with it. It was quick and easy to set up and with my two year old in the room I have to put the track back together about once a day but its really not a problem. I like that all the tracks are the same. There is no guessing on where to put which piece making it really nice. This would really make a great gift for those train lovers out there.
