I’m so excited to introduce you to our next Holiday Gift Guide feature!  I have several great loves in life, and one of the greatest of those is my love of learning.  I want so much want to pass this on to my children.  What better way to do that than through books.

Children’s literature can be an almost magical part of a child’s youth.  I remember my teachers and my parents reading me the classics when I was little.  Now, I’m passing that on to my children.  When I taught preschool I built up quite a library of children’s books, a library that I continue to add to every chance I get.  Laughing Giraffe Books makes it so easy for you to build your book library with collections of excellent children’s literature.

I know that there are thousands of books out there written for kids.  Some are excellent, well written, and entertaining…some are just not.

Laughing Giraffe Books takes all the guesswork out of finding the best books. Founded by a former reading specialist, each Laughing Giraffe Books book set features high quality children’s literature designed to encourage children to read and develop a lifelong love of reading.

When I was browsing through the collections I was so impressed at the quality of literature they have!  They are all the books I’d pick out!

The Series of Series collection is a great introduction to some of the most well-loved series in children’s literature…

Book selections range from board book collections for newborns, infants, and toddlers like the Board Book Bonanza collection…

…up to fun chapter books for young readers ages 8+.

Instead of being purchased one by one, Laughing Giraffe Books bundles books into themed collections like the awesome collections shown above.  When purchasing any of the collections you have the option to have your books delivered as a set or as a “book of the month” with one book arriving each month.  Book of the month can be a fun option to draw the excitement out for months!

With both of the delivery options each book comes beautifully gift wrapped and ships free!

Laughing Giraffe Book collections are an excellent gift for parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and more to give their loved little ones for the holidays this year!

  1. I see a bunch of my favorite books in these collections!
  2. Wow , so many of your favorites pictured here. This is a great gift idea.
  3. Giving books has always been my thing, I cherish snuggle up time spent reading with my children. So many of my favorites listed here!
  4. Great books at their website! I love giving my daughter books for Christmas!
  5. Hmmmm, this looks so much like a book club I subscribed to for YEARS when my kids were little. I can't even tell you how many wonderful discoveries we found through it.
  6. Im a voracious reader....and pray and am hoping and plan to raise my girl to be the same.
  7. I love all the books that you pictured here... so many favorites of mine. I'll have to check this service out ... I'm trying hard to get my 3 yr old son to like books a bit more than he does right now. It's all about trucks & tractors instead.
  8. We love reading in our house and collect books. I passed my childhood favorites down to my oldest daughter, she passed down to her sister and now they are down to my son.
  9. Robin Wilson says
My son had a love of books from the beginning! He started his own library when he was about six and still maintains one today. He still has many of the hardback books from when he was young. Some of them from a book club. I think this is great.
  10. Oh these seem like wonderful books!
  11. I love so many of these books, they are really treasures! Thanks so much for sharing them and for the giveaway. One of my favorites is The Runaway Bunny!
  12. Reading is a cheap form of entertainment. Most of the time, for about the price of a movie, you can get a paperback book that you can spend hours on. This is a much more affordable means of entertainment than many other things. With libraries and used books, this makes the cost of this entertainment even cheaper.
  13. Books make great gifts because they have whole worlds inside them, and it’s much cheaper to buy somebody a book than it is to buy them the whole world.
