With the weather cooling down, fantasy leagues maxed-out and team colors proudly on display, one thing is certain – football season is upon us! That means it’s time to take advantage of the autumn weather, head out to the stadium or your own background and fire up the grill and host your own tailgate party!

Hormel Foods recently conducted a study to better understand football fans, the importance of tailgating and favorite tailgating recipes. According to the study, more than 76 percent of fans say tailgating is a crucial part of the game day ritual and 73 percent would rather feast on their own menu versus stadium food!

What do you think? Do you have any tailgating and game day favorites?

I’ve collected some of my favorite tailgating recipes from some of my coolest blogging friends…

  1. These all look delicious, and I really love the truffles. So cute (though I'd need a different color scheme!).
  2. I do not tailgate outside by the game, but I tailgate in my home when watching the games that we enjoy. I made some chicken wings that really turned out last night, and we will be having when we watch the game. I like a lot of these tailgater recipes and will have to try some.

We always have some kind of goodies on hand when we watch sports. Be it wings, chili or sandwiches. But I must say this fare looks delicious. I want to try and make those wraps!
