In the past year I have been on a serious health kick. I started a rigorous work out program and I also started to take a look at my eating habits and what is in the foods that I eat. I know that not all foods are unhealthy or bad for us but I do know that we have healthier alternatives. I don’t eat all organic or vegan (mostly because it is costly and my kids wont eat it) but I do try to make healthier choices when I have those options. I know my kids compared them to a fruit snack but I think they are more of a candy that you would pick up at a convenient store for a treat. They are gummy and yummy! You would never believe that they are all natural and plant derived! My favorite one is the Strawberry Cream while my son liked the Soar Koala Gummy Bears. (I’m not a fan of sour so he can eat them all!) And just in case you don’t trust my opinion just listen to all their fans! They would have to be yummy if they have been featured on Britain’s Next Top Model, recommended by Oprah, and featured in Women’s Health and Fitness. Another thing that I really love about these are they are allergen free! My friend asked me the other day what kind of treat her daughter should take to school for her birthday. Apparently her class has egg, peanuts and milk allergy children in it. And guess what was the first thing that came to my mind? Goody Good Stuff! They are perfect for everyone! Check out my son’s big smile when I let him have a snack the other afternoon. Usually I just let him have fruit or string cheese but not this time. He got a delicious treat and I could feel good about letting him have it!
