Swimways Spring Float Review and Flash Giveaway!

Summer is winding down folks! My son will start back at school in just two weeks. Ahh! I don’t know if I’m ready for that. I’ve really enjoyed having my boys home, being able to do what we want when we want.

I’ve loved taking my boys to the pool (thanks to my little sis. I wouldn’t have been able to handle the two little non-swimmers plus the baby on my own.), and have been so pleased with the progress each of them has made!

Thanks to Swimways we’ve been able to review a variety of products designed specifically for swim training. This month Swimways gave me the opportunity to review a fun inflatable pool float for grownups! Yay!

The Swimways Spring Float is an easily portable, easy to inflate, and easy to set up pool float designed with grown-ups in mind but able to accommodate pool goers ages 15 and up.

Because I needed to be home with the baby I had my sister try this out for me. Given the fact that she always goes to the pool laden with the boys towels, pool toys, etc., she really appreciated how easy the Spring Float is to set up. It comes with a carrying bag so you never have to worry about how to store it.

The float inflates and deflates quickly with a Jet Valve™ and floats nicely once in the water. My sister however did find one design aspect about the float annoying. She noticed that as long as she floated with her arms down towards her sides and resting on the inflatable sides of the swim float all was fine. However, if she wanted to lounge in a hands behind her head position then the sides of the swim float curled in toward her dipping her slightly lower in the water. However, as long as she was content to lounge with her arms near her side the Spring Float behaved itself.
