I don’t know about you guys but I would LOVE to hire a maid to come clean my house each week.  Unfortunately for us, that doesn’t fit in our budget.  But what if you could win monthly housecleaning for a year!

The makers of Honeywell with Febreze are on their quest to find the home most in need of a maid.  All you have to do to enter is head on over to their facebook page and either submit a picture or your messiest room or commenting with a reason why your home needs refreshing.

Even if your house isn’t that messy, does it ever get smelly?  Do you have teenagers, pets, sports equipment, dirty diapers or how about an old stuffy house?  If so then you should check out the Honeywell with Febreze Freshness Cool & Refresh Fan.  With this new fan Honeywell has combined 2 devices into one for convenient odor elimination and home climate control.  Check out how the Cool & Refresh Fan provides both effective cooling and quiet operation and also uses Febreze Set & Refresh scent cartridges to eliminate room odor and refresh!

Here are some of the Features of the table top fan

  • Whole room cooling, odor elimination and freshening (small to medium size rooms)
  • Quiet operation
  • 2 fan
  • speeds
  • Febreze Set & Refresh odor elimination control
  • Oscillating option
  • Total scent control: variable settings allow consumers to adjust for odor elimination and freshening needs
  • Use with any of the variety of Febreze Set & Refresh scent cartridges
  • Scent cartridge lasts from 2-4 weeks depending on the fan speed used
  • Comes in 3 colors: Black, White & Graphite
  • Retails for $29.99 / 1 year Warranty
  • Available at Target and Walmart

The fan has knobs so you can control the speed of the fan and you can turn the scent up higher or lower

Though the Honeywell with Febreze Freshness Cool & Refresh Fan is the perfect little fan for small to medium sized rooms, I have used it mainly in our family room and our bedroom which are on the bigger side of rooms.

It works great for cooling. I mainly use it on high, and I like it to oscillate so it doesn’t blow directly on me.  It works great in the family room while I do my daily workout routine to help cool me down.  I also take it up to bed with us at night and it is great in there.  It does make a little hum noise but it is a soothing white noise and I don’t mind it at all.  I love that it has a little notch on the top back so it makes it very portable.  It’s light and easy to move from one room to the next.

The one thing that I have noticed about the fan is I don’t notice the scent.  The scent cartridge that came with the fan is called linen and sky and I’m assuming it’s a lighter scent.  I have tried turning up the freshness control and I can tell that the room is fresh (especially after a workout session) but I don’t smell a smell.  I don’t know if that makes since to anyone but what I’m trying to say is it doesn’t put out a fragrance like a candle or plug in that would fill the room with lavender or fresh baked cookies.  It more or less cleanses the air.  I think I need to try a different scent and see if there was a difference between those.

Honeywell also has the Febreze Tower Fan that retails for $59.99 that would be ideal for larger rooms and uses the same scent cartridges.  You can check it out here.  I was interested in the different types of scents that you can use in the fan and they have a few different types to choose from.  They have

  • Febreze Original Scent
  • Febreze Mediterranean Lavender Air
  • Febreze Hawaiian Aloha
  • Febreze Advanced Odor Eliminator

I think I would love the Hawaiian Aloha!

So, I don’t know about you guys but I would love to have my house cleaned for a year and if you would too then go on over and enter to win.  You can also check out their facebook and twitter pages to stay up to date with all their new products, tips and info.
