Have you guys heard about this new movie coming out called Monsters University? Well if not, where have you been! 🙂 Just kidding. Disney Pixar has come out with a prequel of Monsters Inc called Monsters University. It is the back story of how Mike Wazowski and James P Sullivan met. It takes place during their good old college days where they study being Scarers at Monsters University. You’ll even see Randall as a young monster and why their little feud started. Monsters University is just like our University’s: full of fun, laughter, pranks, fraternities, parties and those dreaded finals!

Every time that my daughter sees the previews for Monsters University she gets so excited and comes and finds me to tell me about the commercial. She laughs and then asks if we can see it. So I was so excited to tell her that yes we can see that! We were able to go see an advance screening of Monsters University and let me tell you it did not disappoint! It was so much fun! It had lots of funny parts and was completely entertaining. There were not parts that were slow or dragged on. The one hesitation I had going in with the show was I was worried about Boo not being in it. I loved her and she was so cute in the first movie. But Monsters University was so entertaining and had a great story line. The whole show was cute! I loved it and my daughter, who is 6, absolutely loved it! We would definitely give it 2 thumbs up! Check out my daughter at the movie afterwards. I just had to get a picture of her at the theatre.

Monsters University comes out this Friday, June 21st, so if your looking for something to do this weekend or in the next few weeks you should check it out. Tickets are on sale now. It is rated G and is perfect for a family outing. I can’t wait to go back and watch it again with my son. He is 3 and still has a really short attention span but I really think that he would love this movie. It really was fun and entertaining! A must see this summer!
