Today we here many different things and ways that we can keep our bodies and minds healthy. Things such as what we eat, our exercise routines, lowering stress levels, and taking a daily vitamin or supplements. One of the biggest things I keep hearing about is to take a fish oil supplement or something that has Omega 3 fatty acids in it. And at Viva Labs they have created an Omega 3 supplement that has more Omega 3s and offers 54x more antioxidant power than ordinary fish oil. Omega 3 contains EPA and DHA, the two essential fatty acids the body needs to maintain excellent health.

What could have that much more Omega 3 than fish oil?  Krill Oil!

Now, why do we need Omega 3? I wasn’t exactly sure but I was very interested to find out. So as I started my research on it I was intrigued at all the benefits. Especially for women! Krill Oil has the ability to

  • Protect your heart
  • Lower your cholesterol
  • Fight PMS symptoms
  • Combat inflammation
  • Optimize your brain’s capabilities
  • Fight aging
  • Boost your overall health and well being!

Now who wouldn’t want less PMS symptoms and to fight aging! I know I do! As I am getting older I have realized all the things that I have taken for granite such as my health and my memory. I try to be healthy and I have a regular exercise routine but I haven’t taken a daily supplement before. (I even had a hard time with those prenatal vitamins I was supposed to take. They were awful!)

So with all my new research, I knew I needed to try out Viva Labs Krill Oil supplement. I received a bottle of Krill Oil and I started taking them daily. They suggested taking them with breakfast so that is what I did. I took two pills every morning. I have been taking them for 3 weeks now and I feel great. The one benefit that I have noticed is my joints aren’t sore. The biggest thing is with my knee. I work out 5 days a week doing different workout programs but my knee always seems to be sore. Some days are worse than others but it was always kind of there. Once I have started taking the Krill Oil I don’t seem to have the soreness that I usually do. That is a really nice benefit. Another great thing that I also noticed was that there was no fishy after taste or upset stomach. I just took it and went on with my day. Now for my heart and cholesterol I didn’t really know what they were like before so I’m assuming the Krill Oil is helping me stay healthy! Here is a chart on the overall effects Krill Oil has compared to just Fish Oil.

  1. Ocean Minded says
Krill oil? No thank you! Let's leave the krill for the ocean creatures that depend on it, which is the majority of the ocean food chain. We have already raped the seas of most of the fish, now let's take the food that is supporting the little bit that is left, as well as the birds, whales, seals, and almost everything else.
    • I appreciate you sharing your opinion in a respectful manner, and I respect you for sharing it. I haven't looked into the harvesting practices of this company. But I do believe that God has given us this earth and the creatures on it to use for the benefit of mankind. That however does not mean that we should squander and abuse what we've been given. We are expected to be wise stewards and will be held accountable for the way we treat the earth we've been given. I have no problem with taking Krill supplements and eating fish from the ocean as long as they are harvested responsibly. I understand that you may disagree with my stance, but I hope that you can respect that it is what I truly believe, and I strive to be responsible in what I believe.
