Do you have any “problem” areas with your skin? If not, you’re lucky.
My hands are very beat up. They are dry, cracked, and are often bleeding. My kids have food allergies so I am always washing them so I don’t cross contaminate my kids’ meals. Then there are all the potty trips and diaper changes that require hand washing afterwards. Plus, it has just started to warm up here in Utah, and this dry cold winter we had was awful on my hands.
Needless to say I am always on the look out for something to soothe my hands. The awesome people at Eucerin introduced me to their skindicator app on facebook. They want to help everyone get on the right track to beautiful skin, and will help you out it achieve that by using the skindicator app.
Using the Skindicator app all you have to do is answer a few questions, and you will get recommendations from qualified dermatologists on products that you could use to help you out. Here are some of the skin healing products that Eucerin makes that may be of help to you.
I took the skindicator quiz on their facebook page and I was recomended the Intensive Repair Extra-Enriched Hand Cream and the Aquaphor Healing Ointment to help out on my hands.
Now that I had taken the skindicator quiz and figured out what I needed to try out, I couldn’t wait to get started. My hands had split on two of my knuckles and were killing me. So I grabbed the Intensive Repair Hand Creme and the Aquaphor and started the 14 day challenge. I first applied the Extra-Enriched Hand Creme and then I applied the Aquaphor.
The first few times I used the hand creme it burned my hands but then once I applied the Aquaphor it would soothe them and make them feel better. So I continued this for 14 days. After the first week my hands were completly healed and after the second week I didn’t have any problems at all. My hands are so soft and smooth!
I love that Eucerin has gotten me on the right track to beautiful skin!
Here is just a little tip for all you moms out there. I learned that if your baby has diaper rash you can use the Aquaphor on their little bums. Just apply it to a clean bum after you change them. The great thing about the Aquaphor is that it won’t burn them. Sometimes the diaper cream can hurt when you first put it on but my little baby didn’t mind the Aquaphor and it worked great!
Now that I have been introduced to Eucerin’s Extra-Enriched Hand Creme I use it every day! Some other things that I use in my daily regime for pampering my skin are to use a daily moisturizer. This is a must on my face. Also, I like to use a body scrub on my knees and heels because I tend to have rough skin on them. Then, I like a good body lotion that I can use on arms and legs.
Do you guys have any special “lustrous tips” that you use to pamper your skin? We would love to hear them!
