When we had our first baby I purchased a travel system to wheel our bundle of joy around in. With our second son we needed a stroller that could accommodate both our boys. Now, with our third son, we are back to needing just one stroller.
At this point in my motherhood adventure I’ve tried a few different strollers. I now know what I do and don’t want in a stroller.
The Britax B-Nimble stroller provides parents with a high quality, full-featured umbrella stroller. With the unique Click & Go Integrated Car Seat Adapters you can use this stroller much like you would a travel system type stroller. The Click & Go Car Seat Adapters are compatible with the BRITAX CHAPERONE and B-SAFE infant car seats. An alternate car seat adapter strap will accommodate other major infant car seat brands such as Chicco Key Fit, Chicco Key Fit 30, Graco Snugride 32, Graco Snugride 35, and Peg Perego Primo Viaggio.
Using the car seat adapter strap we were able to turn the Britax B-Nimble into a travel system to use with our BabyTrend infant car seat.
Because of the compact design of this stroller, when used with an infant car seat it is a truly compact travel system.
The Britax B-Nimble stroller is loaded with features that really earn it the designation “full-featured” umbrella stroller:
- Simple fold with automatic chassis lock
- Large canopy with sun visor and peek-a-boo window
- Removable/reversible seat liner pad
- Parent storage pouch and large under-seat storage compartment
- Multiple Position Recline
- Shoulder carry strap
- All-Wheel Suspension provides for a smooth ride
- Included accessories: Adult cup holder, Rain cover, CLICK & GO BRITAX infant car seat adapters, Adapter strap to be used with other major infant car seat brands
I am so impressed with all the accessories that come with the B-Nimble! Living in the south it isn’t uncommon to have misty days or sudden onset rain storms. It is wonderfully convenient to have a rain cover stored right in the stroller!
For those sunny days, the B-Nimble is outfitted with a very large canopy. The sun visor that extends down provides added protection against the sun’s rays. This will be important as Baby Brother transitions to sitting in the stroller without his infant car seat. For now, I really appreciate the peek-a-boo window for when the stroller is in travel system mode. I can check on baby without letting in sun or breeze.
The multiple position recline is achieved through a strap system–tighten to raise the seat, loosen to lower the seat. The leg rest can also be propped up to provide added comfort for a sleeping baby or toddler.
The storage basket underneath is small compared to my double stroller, but it is quite large as far as a single umbrella stroller goes. It’s not quite big enough to hold my large diaper bag. If I had a more moderate sized diaper bag I’d be just fine.
The handle bars are 41″ from the ground making the B-Nimble comfortable to push even for tall parents. Finally, weighing just 15 lbs, the Britax B-Nimble is a great choice for traveling as well as for parents who want something a little lighter.
Priced at $199.99 the Britax B-Nimble stroller is an affordable option as far as full-featured strollers go, especially when you consider that this stroller accommodates an infant car seat.
