Do you have an artist in the family? Or someone who loves to create things? Well my 5 year old daughter LOVES to make, create and decorate. Anything to do with arts and crafts will keep her busy for hours. So when I came across Gelarti I had to find out more!
Gelarti is a unique line of gel stickers from Moose Toys. Now, what makes Gelarti different is that you get an outline of a sticker and then you get to paint and decorate them all your own! It encourages kids to use their imaginations to design, create and swap their very own colorful stickers! And if that wasn’t great enough, they are even reusable so my daughter can move them from her window over to a collage on her wall or even put them on her school notebook! By using Gelarti’s specially formulated paint, kids design and paint their stickers, peel them off and place them just about anywhere. And for all you parents out there, you will be glad to know that the stickers wont leave behind any messy residue.
Check out this Nature Scene Pack we tried out. It retails for $9.99 and is for ages 5+. They also have a Forrest Friend Pack, a Rock Funky Fun Pack and an Ocean Mermaid Pack.
It comes with two paint pens, one glitter paint pen and four sticker sheets with over 20 stickers. The nature set includes butterfly’s, dragonfly’s and flowers. It is so cute! And it was so much fun! My daughter just loved painting them. She is still getting used to not using too much paint in one spot but she is just having so much fun with them.
The only down fall I see to them is that they take a long time to dry. The instructions say 6 hours or for better results over night. We had to let them dry overnight but we may have had a little more paint on them than was necessary! 🙂 It was hard for my daughter to wait to be able to stick them up because she had so much fun making them.
Check out this other product from Gelarti that I think looks like lots of fun. It is the Gelarti Designer Studio. It stores 4 pens, a marbling tool, 3D accessories and the stickers. It also holds your sticker sheet on the turn table so you can create your masterpiece! I know my daughter would love this! I think we’ll have to get one for her for Christmas! It retails for $24.99 and is for ages 5+ also.
