When thinking about the perfect holiday gift, photo gifts are always winners.  Whether you’re giving to the grandparents, your spouse, or your children, your recipient will know that your gift was created with much thought and came from the heart.

That is one reason I decided to do picture gifts this year.  Now that we live far away from both sets of grandparents I thought it would be nice to send family pictures  and pictures of the boys.  There are a lot of places on the internet that will assist you in making the perfect gifts from your photos, but MailPix.com offers a very service.  When you use MailPix.com, not only can you upload pictures from your computer, but you can also sync your Facebook and Instagram accounts and make photo gifts or enlargements from those albums as well.

When I set up my account I chose to log in with my Facebook account.  This allowed MailPix.com to automatically have access to my Facebook picture albums. I had a little trouble the second time I logged in, but I think it was just a temporary glitch in their system.

The most difficult part about the whole ordering process was choosing just what I wanted to get. LOL.  MailPix has a great selection of photo products and photo gifts.  They offer everything from standard prints to canvas enlargements, and photo magnets to t-shirts.

The one thing that concerned me when I uploaded my photos is that there is no photo quality gauge. I was a little concerned with the quality of one of the pictures I used, but there was nothing on the site to let me know if it was too low quality to print in the size I was printing in. I went ahead and used the picture anyway because I only had a couple pictures to choose from for the look I was going for.

After much deliberation I finally ordered two 12×12 Photo Panels of the boys, a whole bunch of photo magnets to send out to the grandparents, and 1 photo ornament for each of the boys.  Stay tuned next week when I’ll show them all off, and let you see how they turned out!
