Tria Skin Perfecting Blue Light- At home blue light acne therapy. Will it work for me?

I have a confession.  I’ve been plagued my whole adult life by something I thought was just a teenage problem.  Acne.  I had it when I was a teenager, much worse then I have it now, but I never thought that I’d have problems all the way into my 30’s. My outbreaks happen mostly on my neck and jaw. I try to keep my face clean and have tried various natural remedies. To no avail. Face washes with salicylic acid, a typical acne treatment are not strong enough (I guess?), face washes with benzoyl peroxide are too strong and I end up with a red swollen face that feels like it is on fire.

Here is a picture of the acne on my neck and jaw.  I’m in between breakouts in the picture so it isn’t even as bad at it often is, but you can see the residual redness from previous blemishes.

The before and after pictures on Tria’s website are pretty impressive so I’m hopeful that this acne treatment will work for me.  The pictures aren’t doctored and you can clearly see blemishes in the early pictures and just how much the acne cleared up in the after pictures.  In clinical studies, consumers saw 70% acne reduction in just two weeks, 93% noticed a smoother complexion in four weeks and 100% said skin looked healthier and more radiant in four weeks. Since my acne is mild compared with some of the people featured on the website, I’m hopeful that I’ll have some wonderful results to show you in several weeks.
