As you guys know one Oh So Savvy Mom reader has the chance to win a Safety 1st Summit Deluxe High Back Booster Car Seat.  (You can check it out on our previous post and enter to win a Summit Deluxe Car Seat of your own here.)  Well, we were able to try it out on my little guy and he was so excited that I could barely get it out of the box before he was in it!

So after he calmed down a bit we were able to check out the new high back booster seat and all of it’s features.  All I can say is this car seat has the easiest way to adjust the headrest and harness that I have ever seen!  You just squeeze the metal bar on the back of the seat and move it up or down.  It was so incredible easy and convenient!

It also comes with the LATCH system so you can easily hook it into your car.
Here you can see the 5-point harness and the adjustable arm rests.  This Safety 1st High Back Booster seat is really nice and came with strap covers by my little guy’s neck.  Then it won’t rub his neck raw.  I also thought the buckles were nice and they clicked smoothly and didn’t get stuck or jam when I was trying to get him out.  I also really liked the arm rests (and so did he!)  They are adjustable and when we went out for a drive tonight he had fallen asleep by the time we got home.  So we were able to lift up the arm rest and it was so easy to get him out of the car seat and into the house.  We didn’t have to lift him up and over the arm rest like other car seats.
Right up front under his feet is where you can loosen the car straps and you can also recline the seat into three different settings.
The Summit High Back Booster seat also grows with your child.  So once your children are 40-100 pounds you can use just a seat belt instead of the 5 point harness.  The seat belt fits through a slot and it adjusts the seat belt for you so it lays properly across their chest.
Here are the highlights of the Summit Deluxe High Back Booster Car Set

I really liked the high back booster and I like the convenience it provides.  It grows with your child and it makes adjusting the headrest, straps and reclines very easy.   The padded cover does come off so it can be easily washed.  I also love that it has side impact protection and it claims to meet or exceed Federal Safety Standards.  We can never be safe enough with our little ones.
