When you’re a mom, a regular exercise routine has got to be one of the most difficult things to establish. It’s been about 3 and a half weeks since I started my exercise routine. I LOVE it! I found a routine that fits into my schedule as a mom and allows me to spend time with my kids. Often times getting out of the house and going to the gym just isn’t an option. Finances may be tight, or perhaps there is no one to watch the kids.
I’ve often thought, if I just had a home gym or a selection of good workout videos I could get in shape. I just found out about this new online programing called Gaiam TV. Gaiam TV is the first streaming video subscription offering designed to reach those interested in health, wellness, yoga, fitness and personal development. With over 2,000 titles, Gaiam TV, it’s like a netflix for health, wellness, yoga and fitness, delivering hundreds of hours of online yoga, Pilates and cardio classes. Gaiam TV viewers can practice with top instructors like Rodney Yee, Seane Corn, Jillian Michaels, Mari Winsor and Kathryn Budig.
Even though I like to run my kids to the playground most days now there are still a ton of workout videos on Gaiam TV that I plan on utilizing. I started the morning off with AM Stretch with instructor Madeleine Lewis. I also can’t wait to do some of the Jillian Michaels workouts. Thankfully for me, out of shape mama that I am, you can search by skill level. That way I can get a great workout, be a little sore the next day, but not feel like I want to die. 🙂
You can also search by the type of workout you want to do. Need a little cardio? Select that field and the results will be populated with great cardio workouts. Pregnant? No worries, there are several workout videos specifically for expectant moms. There are even a few workout videos to get your kids movin’ and groovin’.
So, obviously I really like the fitness aspect of Gaiam TV, but, really there is more to it than that. Gaiam TV also offers videos for kids and families, inspirational documentaries, and much more. Gaiam TV’s entire library of award-winning videos is available anytime, anywhere. Streaming capabilities for Gaiam TV include personal computers, iPads and smartphones.
Gaiam TV offers a free 10-day trial to prospective subscribers. Gaiam TV’s $9.95 per month subscription fee allows subscribers to stream unlimited content. The subscription to Gaiam TV is no strings attached; there is no commitment, and members can cancel at anytime.
Would I pay $9.95 per month for Gaiam TV? I answer with a resounding, HECK YES!!! As soon as my free trial runs out I’ll be renewing my subscription. $9.95 per month beats any gym membership! If you can afford $10 a month, why would you not do it?
Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Gaiam TV. I also received a free trial of Gaiam TV to facilitate this review. All opinions are my own.
