I love gardening. In the last house we lived in I had a beautiful spring flower bed, and every year I’d plant a vegetable garden. Now we live in San Antonio, and growing plants in the summer heat of Texas is no easy task. I’d almost completely dismissed the idea of planting anything this year because I figured, if I missed just one day of watering, the poor plant would probably die anyway. Then I saw Miracle-Gro’s new Expand ‘n Gro™.
Expand ‘n Gro is a totally unique new planting mix. Not only does it contain coir (derived from coconut husks) which holds 50% more water than traditional potting soil, it also:
– gives you up to 3X the Flowers and Vegetables!* *versus native soil
-Significantly improves soil for multiple years
-Concentrated planting mix expands up to 3X when water is
added
-Feeds for up to 6 months
Here is a cool video that shows just how Miracle-Gro, Expand ‘n Gro works…
If you are planting a vegetable garden, prepping the soil is an important first step that often gets overlooked. Fail to prep your soil, however, and your plants will struggle. Usually I’d have to find compost from somewhere to prep my garden with, but I’m totally using Expand ‘n Gro next time. I’d just pick up a bag at my local home improvement store (it’s concentrated so you can actually pick it up instead of dragging it all around your garden), spread a small layer over top of my garden, and mix in. So convenient!
Check out Miracle-Gro Expand ‘n Gro for your garden this year.
