Shout Color Catcher with Oxi – Review and GivAway!

I learned after the birth of our second child that once you have 2+ children in the house, laundry is ne-ver en-ding.  Laundry has become a bane to my living room (where I fold the mountains of laundry).  Also, I’m still getting used to having to remember to collect the laundry from the boys room before I start my laundry loads.  Before we moved into this house we lived in a little place and we only needed a laundry basket in our bedroom.  Now we have a laundry basket in the boys room as well.  I still occasionally forget to sort their laundry into the other laundry before I start the loads.  This leaves me with mix of lights, darks, and colors. If I chose to launder them separately I’d have very small loads and would waste a lot of water.

This is where Shout has come to the rescue of laundry doing families everywhere.  Shout Color Catcher sheets allow you to wash a full load with mixed colors without having to worry about colors bleeding onto each other.  Now Shout has gone the extra mile to help families with their wash routines by adding oxi to their sheets. Now you can throw your mixed color load into the laundry and expect that your clothes will come out of the wash brighter and more stain-free than with the original Color Catcher sheets alone.

I tried the Shout Color Catcher with Oxi sheets a few different ways.  I tried the sheets in a mixed load of whites, darks, and a few reds.  That worked okay, but I did notice some red on some of my son’s white socks.  Based upon this I wouldn’t recommend washing whites that you’d like to remain bright white with colors that are prone to bleeding.  I tried washing my light colors with my dark colors and this worked very well, as did washing my dark blues and blacks with reds.
