Sing, sign and dance your way through potty training! Potty Time supports any potty training method by helping children:

  • Listen to their bodies
  • Stop what they are doing and go to the bathroom
  • Celebrate their successes
  • Deal with accidents in a positive way
  • Appreciate their amazing bodies

Potty Time teaches the potty routine along with signs that children of any age can use to talk about growing up, using the potty, and celebrating successes of all kinds. Signs are especially useful for potty training infants and toddlers. The Potty Time DVD and Music CD help children feel good about their growing bodies, learn the potty routine, and celebrate successes of any kind!

I’ve long been a fan of Signing Time.  I first discovered Signing Time when I began teaching my oldest to sign when he was a toddler.  Since then the Signing Time dvds have become faithful family friends of ours.  I was excited when I saw on Signing Time’s YouTube channel that they were coming out with a potty training dvd.  It was the perfect timing for us!

Potty Time surprised me in that it wasn’t at all what I expected.  I had thought that this was going to be a potty training instruction dvd for little kids and parents.  Instead, Potty Time teaches kids about their bodies, that their bodies can learn to go potty in the potty, and proper potty hygiene.

Though this curricula was not what I was expecting, I really enjoyed it.  I thought that the concepts that were covered are perfect for helping kids become interested and excited about using the potty.

My favorite segment is “Stop and Go!”.  Thankfully, this is also Little Brother’s favorite segment because it tackles the frequently problematic issue of the need to stop playing and go to the bathroom.  Stopping playtime to go potty when he has to go is currently one of Little Brother’s biggest potty training issues.  Each time we watch Potty Time ,we talk about stopping play to go potty after the “Stop and Go!” segment.

Two Little Hands productions has created a whole website dedicated to helping you potty train your child.  You’ll find downloadable potty charts, tips, and even an app for your phone (it is super cool – I’d consider it a must-have).

You can purchase Potty Time DVD + Music CD at SigningTime.com for $24.95. You can also purchase the Potty Time DVD with a potty training watch for $29.95.
