I was first introduced to Waterfield Designs last spring and I continue to be impressed with the quality and design. Indeed, Waterfield Designs is known for their high quality products that will help you organize your life and look sleek at the same time.
In a nutshell, WaterField products are ridiculously well-made, fastidiously designed, have more personality than you can shake a stick at, and are so “user-friendly”, that you can actually operate them with one arm tied behind your back. This turns out to be a huge benefit for high-frequency travelers; the busy, laptop-carrying, cell phone-obsessed commuting types; or the dual diaper/carrying bag parents.
The Husband and I both just got iPhones so when I hear about Waterfield Design’s new iPhone Wallet I was very interested. Like most women, I carry a lot of junk stuff around in my purse. I am constantly on the look out for ways I can consolidate.
The iPhone wallet is a bit masculine in design, but not so masculine that I feel odd carrying it around. The brown muzetto leather is beautiful and I like the minimalist design. The interior has 2 main sections–one for your phone, and the other for your cash and cards.
When I first opened the wallet I was very doubtful that the wallet could fit all the insurance cards, gift cards from last year that I’m still waiting to use, credit cards, and the other random cards moms are often caught with. Well, they all fit, all 13 of them. There is even room for a few more.
Another thing that I appreciate is the locking zipper that is a standard feature on Waterfield Designs products. Your wallet won’t inadvertently unzip when you slip it in your pocket or purse.
The feature that makes Waterfield Designs iPhone wallet unique is the window that allows you to use your iPhone while it is in you wallet. You can turn you phone on, use the touch screen, use your apps, make calls, and do anything else you’d normally do with your phone. I just couldn’t believe that you could actually talk on the phone with you iPhone in your wallet. There was no way that the person on the other end would be able to hear you and you them with your phone behind the vinyl window. When I actually tried it out I was amazed. The volume didn’t seem any different than when my phone was out of the wallet.
I’m betting that if you look in my purse a few years down the road you’d still find my Waterfield Designs iPhone Wallet in it.
At only $39.99 they are a good range for almost any budget. If you’re looking for the perfect gift for dad, mom, or anyone else with an iPhone, you’ve to to check these out.
