One of the world’s best-selling children’s ride-on-toys, the PlasmaCar’s unique and award-winning design requires no batteries, pedals, gears, or electrical parts to propel the car; you simply turn the steering wheel, and away you go! The PlasmaCar harnesses the natural forces of inertia, centrifugal force and friction.

Quiet, inexpensive, and providing limitless playability, the PlasmaCar is truly a unique toy that can reach exhilarating, but kid-friendly, speeds of up to 10 km/hour (6 mph). . . It’s pure energy, and pure fun!

The PlasmaCar is designed for ages 3+.  Yep, that is right, even grown-ups can ride this bad boy. The PlasmaCar can hold up to 220 lbs.  I’ll warn all you grown ups  though, this is a really good work out for your arms, especially if your giving one of the kids a ride.

The PlasmaCar is designed to be ridden on a smooth, flat surface.  This has probably been the only difficult thing about the PlasmaCar.  It is difficult to find a smooth and totally flat surface.  The sidewalk in front of our house has dips at every driveaway.  Even the sidewalk that encircles the playground is not totally flat.  We do have one surface that is perfect for the PlasmaCar….the kitchen floor.  Thankfully, we have a large kitchen island that makes for the perfect circular track.

We’ve never been able to get the PlasmaCar to go faster than pretty slow, perhaps we have not had the right surface to ride it on.  I can imagine some kids getting bored of this easily and other kids absolutely loving it.

I really like that the PlasmaCar requires little coordination so even littler children can hop on and begin to ride with little effort.  Big Brother can hop on and zoom around the kitchen.  Little Brother, though he’s too little to make the PlasmaCar go by turning the handle, likes to sit on it and push with his feet.

The assembly was super easy!
