Fun Thanksgiving Treat for Kids (Easy for Preschoolers too!)

My sister in law made these a couple years ago so I thought I would give them a try. We called them Gum Drop Turkeys but I’m not for sure if they have a real name. But this was a fun project that my daughter could do.  All you need is large gumdrops, small gumdrops and toothpicks broken in half.

My happy little helper!

You take one large gumdrop and put one toothpick in the front for a head and three in the back for the feathers. Then you put one gum drop on each toothpick.

Gum Drop Turkeys!!!
We made these for a treat at preschool but they would be cute for sitting on the table for Thanksgiving Dinner and they were so easy and lots of fun to make!

How cute and so simple! With Thanksgiving just around the corner sagain i'm going to have to get my daughter doing this one. If she can manage not to eat them faster than making them lol.
  4. Nice idea!
  5. How cool :) Sometimes the simplest things are the best cuz they are handmade, and from the kids! This would be a neat thing to put next to each person's plate for Thanksgiving :)) Thanks for sharing!
