I love finding a great deal to save me and my family some money. I always clip coupons, and I look at daily deal sites everyday. But I always either forget to bring my coupons, or I loose them before I get to the store or I miss the deal from the daily deal sites because I didn’t check it in time. AHHH!!! Sometimes I think why do I even bother? But then I came across a company called CityGro, and I think they solved a lot of my problems!
CityGro is a savings network that compiles tons of local deals for you to save you $1,000’s! Basically, it is like a membership card like Sams or Costco but you use it various businesses like coupons that you would see in the Sunday paper or Valpaks. There are so many great reasons to have a CityGro membership

Here is how to set up a CityGro membership:
First you get onto their website and purchase a membership. (They also have a 30 day free trial membership so you can try before you buy). Once you receive your card you are ready to go! You can browse different offers in:
- Auto
- Dining
- Health and Wellness
- Entertainment
- Beauty and Salon
- Professional Services
- Retail
- Sports and Recreation
They have different locations either Utah County, Box Elder County, Cache County, SLC and SLC South so you can browse different deals according to which area of the state you will be in. This is so nice, especially if you are traveling up to a different area. You simply log onto their website and find a deal for Dining or Entertainment and you text yourself the deal and show the merchant the text. If you don’t have text messaging you can simply show your card! So easy!
The one tricky part is that sometimes the deals change so you will want to make sure you check the deal before you go. Also, make sure you double check the location because sometimes the pizza place in one town isn’t offering the same deal as the same pizza place in another town.
If you have an iphone they have an app so you don’t have to log onto their website to find new deals. Simply download the app (which is free) and you can search for deals and even show companies the deal you found! Now, this is really convenient. If you don’t have an iphone, don’t worry they are getting an Android app soon so keep a look out for that!
This is a great concept that I think will really come in handy. It won’t save me tons of money at the grocery store like clipping coupons for yogurt and cereal, but it will save a LOT on the other things I do daily, like getting an oil change, going out to dinner or getting a new haircut. There are so many savings on CityGro! Last weekend my husband and I went out on a date and got a great deal on shakes. This definitely makes date nights cheaper!
