I think eating right has got to be just about one of the most difficult things for a mom to do for herself. Our lives are filled with the constant demands of our children. We taxi them to where they need to be. We do the laundry, cleaning, grocery shopping, etc. Three times each day we make sure our family has a meal. Amidst all this hustle and bustle I find myself either not eating or shoving junk down my throat. My eating habits have been particularly bad lately as we’ve been traveling so much.
I’ve long been aware of the benefits of probiotics. In fact, most cultures have long practiced eating foods with high amounts of live cultures. Activia has made it a point to remind us how effective the friendly bacterial strain bifidus regularis is at regulating our digestion when consumed daily for at least two weeks as a part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
The Husband loves Activia and has at least one Activia a day. I, on the other hand, can be a finicky eater and occasionally find the taste of yogurt overpowering. I do love granola in my yogurt, however. That is why I was super excited about the new Activia Selects-Parfait. The parfaits come in a convenient 6 oz. cup with a small serving of crunchy granola in a cup on top.
I was a little disappointed to find that they didn’t carry Activia Selects-Parfait at my local Target. Instead I went with the Activia Selects- French which I found a little sweeter and thinner than regular Activia. I’ll be on the lookout for the Parfait variety next time I’m out. That way I can have a quick, nutritious snack and know I’ll still get that “yummy” fix I crave. 😉
The new Activia Selects come in Parfait, Greek, French, and French Fruit on the bottom varieties so there is a little something for all preferences.
