Trying to make the world a greener place, in style.

Made from woven polypropylene – one the most popular plastics for making food containers like yogurt cups. 10-40% of the polypropylene used in our bags is recycled from post consumer use. Most of our bags hold up to 50 lbs, which is due to the plastic fibers woven into the bags.

I recently discovered a new, very cool fundraiser company.  Here is their story:

They aren’t kidding when they say “hundreds of adorable” items.  I was a little overwhelmed as I shopped for some items to review.  Don’t get me wrong, the site is organized wonderfully.  It is very easy to navigate, but the sheer volume of items is amazing!  These are a few of the things I chose…

They are actually much bigger than they look in the picture.  The zebra striped weekender zip tote you see in the back can fit 3-4 beach towels and the family’s swimsuits!

Now, I’ve done a lot of school fundraisers in my day.  I know a good one when I see one.  Mixed Bag Designs makes everything from shopping bags to makeup bags, home/office storage and stationary to laptop sleeves.  They have something for everyone. Plus, with Mixed Bag Designs you get 50% of the sale and free shipping on your fundraiser orders!

My absolute favorite item that I ordered?  I love my insulated grocery bags!  Why didn’t someone tell me about these earlier!  These would have saved many an ice cream bar from the kiln that my car becomes in the summer.  Another excellent thing about these is that they are BIG.  I went to Costco the other day and bought some frozen food.  Before heading home we decided to stop off at a friend’s house.  I was able to stuff 2 boxes of pizza (that’s -7- 13″ pizzas) into one insulated bag. I then set the insulated bag on top of a box of yogurt and left everything in the car.  We stayed inside at the friend’s house for about an hour, and when we climbed into our 85+ degree car everything in the bag and under the bag was still cold!  These insulated grocery bags are a must have!

  45. We are actually using this company to help a teammate bring his new son home (they've adopted a child from the Philippines and have one final hurdle to overcome). Please read more at my blog and use Fundraiser Group #105834 so we can help them raise the necessary money for the final travel expenses, legal fees, etc!
  46. I don't understand why everyone loves this company! Most of their products are crap & overpriced...even for environmentally friendly products. My son brought this home as a fundraiser for Mother's Day. The $19 infinity scarf is the thinnest & stiffest I've ever seen... even at the cheapie stores. We ordered gifts 3 weeks ahead & they arrived a week AFTER Mother's Day! When I called the company, they offered me 2 free products for my trouble, except one is the same crappy tote (made of tarp material) I am returning. No wonder they give so much back as a fundraiser.. this stuff must cost nothing.
