With the holiday buying season upon us I wanted to introduce you all to a site that has enchanted me for a quite.  If you never visited Magic Cabin’s site I highly recommend you browse around.  I must add a word of caution however, once you look you’ll be hooked.  You’ll wish you were a kid again and you may even contemplate breaking out the Christmas wish list paper.

Magic Cabin has a magical cornucopia of toys to entertain even the most imaginative, active, and creative children.  As I looked through their online catalog trying to figure out what I was going to order for the boys I was almost overwhelmed by the number of toys to choose from.  Had I had an unlimited budget I would have ordered a truckload of toys.

I finally settled on this Grow With Me Rocking Horse…

Grow-With-Me Rocking Horse. Little rockers can enjoy rollicking rides on this handsome steed. It features a safety surround on the seat which can easily be removed when your child grows. Rubber stoppers on the bow rockers are specially designed to prevent enthusiastic riders from tipping over. Made from eco-friendly rubberwood in a natural finish with red and black detailing. Simple assembly required. For ages 12 mos. and up. Size 28-3/4″L x 11-3/4″W x 20-1/2″H

We had a cute little, inexpensive rocking horse for Big Brother when he was little, but it bit the dust after only moderate usage.  I had decided that when Little Brother was old enough I wanted to get him a wooden rocking horse.  Little Brother is already passed the age of needing the safety surround on the seat, but I look forward to being able to let our next child use this rocking horse when they are still little.

The assembly was fairly easy (there are a lot of pieces), and I highly recommend putting it together when the kids are asleep.  The excitement and anticipation was a little too much for my little guys.  Assembly tends to take a little bit longer when little hands are constantly trying to steal the nuts and screws.

Have you noticed that my children are always in costume?

Little Brother is so proud of his new “haasey!”.  When ever anyone new comes over to the house he immediately tells them, “Watch me! Haasey!”, and shows off how well he can ride his new horsey.  I love simple, yet timeless look of the horse.  The quality is wonderful and we are looking forward to having this horsey as a part of our family for many years.

You can find the Grow With Me Rocking Horse at MagicCabin.com for $79.98
