To Insanity and Back Again: It’s Gonna Be a Wild Ride!

I feel like I don’t get the chance to write about me very often.  It’s not that I really have a lot to say.  Off the blog I’m not a very talkative person; I prefer to observe and listen, but sometimes you’ve just got to connect–for sanity sake.
It has been crazy around our house recently.  If you remember my post from a couple months back, The Husband recently joined the Air Force and will be completing the residency portion of his PhD at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio beginning in August.  In preparation for that we put our house on the market.  It has been on the market since February.  I know it is the only way to get a house sold, but I’m really beginning to hate showings.
In a couple weeks my mom will be driving to Utah with some of my younger siblings to drop my sister’s things off for college, and then we are all going to caravan to a family reunion in Yosemite for a week starting on June 12th!  I’m super excited for that.  All my family (extended included) used to go to Yosemite every summer when I was little, but I couldn’t have been older than 6 the last time we went.  I’m not yet sure what the internet access will be like, but I’ll try to figure out a way to keep the Low Entry Linky going.  I will also have guest posters so make sure you come and show your support.
A few days after we get home from that, The Husband and I are flying out to San Antonio to find a house to rent.  It will be exciting to see the city (I’ve never been there!).  Four days after we get home the movers are coming to haul all our stuff away to storage in San Antonio for a month.  We will then be living out of our suitcases until we finally make it to San Antonio.
On the 5th of July The Husband flies to Alabama for training, and I drive the kiddos to San Diego for four weeks with my family.  I plan to be doing a lot of blogging while I’m there. 🙂
I have yet to figure out how I will get myself, my car, and my kiddos from San Diego to San Antonio.  The obvious solution would seem to be simply to drive.  I’m just not sure how I would brave the 20+ hour drive by myself with a 17 month old and a 4 year old.  Any suggestions or encouragement would be greatly appreciated!
In the midst of all this craziness I will have two wonderful events for you!  There are always extra entries for posting the buttons so grab the buttons now.
The first is my Father’s Day Gift Guide.  The event will run for 1 week, from June 2-8 (tentatively) with several great reviews and giveaways!

Then, later in the month of June and all through July we’ll have a rockin’ good time with my ‘Beat the Heat’ Summer Fun Guide!  There will be reviews, giveaways, and craft and family activity ideas!  If you are interested in guest posting for the crafts and family activities please feel free to email me at amy (at) ohsosavvymom.com.
