Avon ANEW Skin Cream ~ Review ~

I was recently contacted by a wonderful Avon rep who wondered if I would review one of Avon’s product lines. I was invited to review the ANEW line of skin care products. I have horrible skin in the winter, and am beginning to see the physical signs of having recently turned 30 start to creep into my face, so I thought I’d give it a try. I took an online quiz about my skin and it was concluded that ANEW Reversalist would be right for me. ANEW has 3 different skin care plans, each designed to address your skin’s unique needs. Though the product is designed for signs of aging that usually happen in a woman’s 40’s, it was perfect for my skin needs. I mentioned above that my skin is horrible in the winter. My face is constantly dry and sometimes peels (I won’t even tell you about my hands, ugh!) and lately my skin tone has been just plain dull. I very rarely wear foundation so it is important to me that my skin look healthy. Prior to beginning my Reversalist regimen I was using a common brand moisturizer that retails for $8-$10 for 2 oz. I got about $8 worth of results from it (meaning after using my face remains dry and pallid looking).

I was sent a Try-It size of the Day Cream and the Night Cream. The very first day I used it it was accompanied by a slight burning (tingling?) sensation. This however, is very common, and doesn’t occur after a few uses. It took about 6 days of using before I began noticing a difference, but the difference was there. My skin tone is much more even and healthy looking once again! I haven’t noticed much of a difference other than that, but then, I don’t really have wrinkles or anything yet so there is not a whole lot to work on. I am very happy with the results!

I have been using the trial sizes for almost 2 weeks and it seems as though there will be enough left for another two weeks, giving a total of about 1 month’s worth of moisturizer. Not bad for only $12 each.
