It has yet to be determined whether the outer structure of the Tabernacle can be saved. It is so strange driving past that forlorn place every day. As you look through the windows you see straight to the sky. It reminds me of the ancient ruins of past European civilizations.
Firefighters recovered a painting of Christ that hung in the front entry to the Tabernacle. As if to remind us that He will watch over us in all things, Christ stands unscorched. The entire painting around the image of Christ was burned, but Christ remained untouched.
