I downloaded SnapIt to my mother-in-law’s computer because it is a PC that uses the Windows operating system–ah, yes, there’s the rub. SnapIt is only compatible with Windows. That is the only con in my view. However, for those of you who use Windows there is no con at all. Anyway, we downloaded it in a jiffy and gave it a go. I have to say that I was surprised at how easy it was, and at first thought I must surely be missing a step. Nope, it’s just super easy. You simply click on the little camera icon in the toolbar at the bottom right of your screen, press the designated key on your keyboard, and use the cursor to capture whatever it is on the screen that you want to capture. SnapIt can even autosave the images! Here is a screen shot of my blog that I captured:

It took me all of about 30 seconds to capture this and upload it to my blog page! |
My mother-in-law, who maintains a very complicated web-based newsletter, was ecstatic at much time SnapIt is going to save her. She said it is a “fabulous tool! It will be a great shortcut to the complex tasks that I face in my work everyday importing photos into websites, managing screen shots, getting exactly what I want without having to take it through tedious editing processes.”
Can you imagine how this will revolutionize your blogging or web design?!
SnapIt is super-affordable!
